Here are some questions we get asked from time to time.

How many hours does one hour of a driving lesson with a driving instructor count for towards the learner logbook?

1-hour of driving lessons with a driving instructor will count for to 3-hours in the learner Driver logbook in NSW. So 10-hours of driving lessons with a driving school will be counted as 30-hours in the learner logbook.

Can I use my overseas license if I have moved to NSW from another country?

If you have moved to NSW and hold an overseas license and you hold a permanent Australian residential visa then you are not considered to be a visitor and are only allowed to drive in NSW on a current overseas license for no more than three months from date of arrival into Australia.  To continue driving it is require that you obtain a NSW driving license.

If your overseas license is not in English than you must provide an official translation by the NSW community relations commission for multi-cultural NSW. To obtain your NSW license you must pass a knowledge test and a driving test. What car does the driving instructor teach in?

Our instructors drive Honda Jazz.

Can I use the driving instructors car to take my RTA driving test in?

Yes, our driving instructors have a package that includes a lesson prior to the RTA driving test as well as use of their car for the license driving test. Please browse our packages link to view this deal.
